Description
The Copoprotec® coating used on steel poles and structures provides a guaranteed dielectric resistance of 10 kV, as well as excellent resistance to impacts and chemical aggression.
The range of Copoprotec® poles and structures is made of three lines of products:
- The poles
- The crossbeams
- The risers (cable ladders)
If necessary, and upon request, the design of the poles and structures can be adapted for specific loads and lengths, or for particular supports.
MULTIPLE FIXING AND MOUNTING METHODS
Their are multiple fixing and mounting methods for insulated metal poles and structures (on the wall, self-supporting on the floor, etc.) and they are adapted to the configuration of the installation, whether it is already existing or new.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR GROUND OR CEILING VERTICAL POSTS?
These posts are fully compatible with other products in the COMMET catalog, including Copoprotec® brackets, Easyflex strap bracing systems...
The choice of posts is therefore made based on the desired useful height (H) and the expected load on the post.
Specific connection plates integrated into the posts make assembly easy while maintaining dielectric insulation.
COMMET GROUP’s research department can provide verification of the loads supported by the structure based on your project.
For a height greater than 1800 mm (maximum height of a single-piece post), multiple combinations are possible to get the desired final height.
Depending on the configuration, it is also possible to choose solutions that are directly fixed to the ceiling.

CROSSBEAMS
In the case of heavy loads or with a high number of cables, it is possible to combine Copoprotec® poles with crossbeams that are perfectly adapted to the design of the poles and still allows for electrical insulation.
The choice of crossbars is made simply based on the desired width (L).
RISERS
The insulated poles and structures can be used to create cable ladders under hatches.
The selection of poles and crossbeams is made according to the ceiling height, the opening of the hatch, and the load to be supported based on the number and type of cables, as well as the equipment used for the structure, such as toroidal transformers, which can weigh up to 100 kg per transformer.

In order to make the installation of cables on the poles, crossbeams and risers easier, COMMET GROUP has developed numerous mounting accessories adaptable to various configurations and equipment certified by RTE (French electricity transmission system operator).
